Home Economics and Food Management Course

WAEC subject combination (requirements) for Home Economics and Food Management

Home Economics and Food Management in WAEC must be studied in five (5) credit courses. This combination of subjects is also suitable for the NECO and GCE exams. Home Economics and Food Management must be included in the WAEC subject combination (O level prerequisite) that includes:

  1. Agricultural Science or Biology or Home Economics.
  2. Any other science subject, preferably Physics.
  3. A trade subject
  4. English
  5. Mathematics
  6. Chemistry

JAMB UTME subject combination (requirements) for Home Economics and Food Management

It is not sufficient to know the JAMB subjects for home economics and food management. To be safe, you should strive for a JAMB UTME score of 180 to 200 or above because anything less could prevent you from receiving admission or a post-UTME. Of course, if your score is less than 180, you should think about attending a polytechnic or a college of education. Please be aware that there are other admissions options besides JAMB. Maybe it’s time to pass via IJBM, JUBEB, ND, HND, or Predegree if you’re having problems with the JAMB UTME!..

Direct Entry requirement (required A-level result) to study Home Economics and Food Management
