A public institution called the University of Ngaoundéré is situated in Ngaoundéré, Adamawa Region, Cameroon. Its French name is Université de Ngaoundéré. On January 19th, 1993, a presidential decree was formed it.
The Ngaoundere University Centre was transformed into a legally recognized, state-owned university by the Presidential Decree of January 19, 1993, which established the institution.
The institution, which originally had two professional schools and four faculties, now has four professional schools and faculties, a student body of about 30,000, and it accepts students from all regions of Cameroon as well as from surrounding nations like Chad and the Central African Republic.
