About Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University
The university was reputable by law No. 13 of 2000 by the Anambra State Government and has a two-campus assembly. The core campus of the university is situated at Uli, in the former location of the Ekwenugo Okeke Polytechnic, officially called Anambra State Polytechnic. The second campus is situated at Igbariam in the previous spot of the College of Agriculture. The law starting the university phased out the State Polytechnic and the university inherited its resources and obligations.
On the other hand, the university law botched to reverse the Edict starting the College of Agriculture, Igbariam, henceforth, lawfully the university and the college occurred side by side at the Igbariam Campus site, until 2006 when the government repositioned the College of Agriculture to Mgbakwu, about fifteen kilometers away from Igbariam.
