The Federal University Lokoja, also referred to as Fulokoja or by its initials, FUL is a federal institution located in Lokoja, the confluence city and the state capital of Kogi, in central Nigeria. At the meeting point of the Niger and Benue rivers in Lokoja.
The Federal Government of Nigeria founded the Federal University Lokoja in February 2011 in response to the urgent demand for more universities in the nation. Its goal is to provide the catchment region, Africa, and the rest of the globe with employable graduates through competency-based instruction, applied research, and hands-on community service.

General Admission Requirements
In FULokoja, there are essentially two entry methods for admission into undergraduate programs: UTME and Direct Entry.
FULokoja admission requirements through UTME
Candidates for the UTME must fulfill the following criteria to be admitted to the university in 2022/2023:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
- A minimum of 6 (six) “Cs (Credits)” marks are required for candidates’ O’level results (s). English language, math, and three other topics pertinent to their area of study must be included. A candidate for law school, for example, needs to have a “C” in English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, Economics, and English Literature.
- Applicants must receive a minimum score of 180 on the JAMB UTME.
- Applicants must take the FUL post-UTME screening exam and do extremely well on it (Depending on the course of study)
- Applicants must select the appropriate topic combination for their courses because the Federal University, Lokoja (FUL) will only accept results from ONE sitting.
- Ultimately, to be admitted to the institution, applicants must achieve the required cutoff scores for their respective courses.
Federal University, Lokoja admission requirements through Direct Entry
The following criteria must be met by applicants who seek to be admitted directly to the university:
- Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credits on their o-level exam. Arithmetic and English language are both required in this. Unfortunately, results from two sittings are not permitted.
- Also, applicants had to be 16 or older.
- Applicants must obtain a JAMB Straight entrance form from JAMB to apply.
- Applicants should possess one of the following documents: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, A-levels from Cambridge, BSc, HND, and ICAN are all examples of diplomas.
