About KAAF University College

KAAF University College is an engineering, business administration, law, and nursing college in Budumburam, Gomoa East District, Ghana. It is the first private institution of higher learning in Ghana to receive National Accreditation Board accreditation to provide degree programs in civil engineering, construction technology, geomatic (geodetic) engineering, and BSc. mechanical engineering. Michael Aidoo established it.

The Companies Code Act 179 of 1963 was used to create KAAF University College in 2006. But, with a small group of trailblazing students, admissions began in the academic year 2008–2009. The faculty of engineering and a department of business was established when the school first opened. In just 4 years, the total had increased to around 1000, with the Engineering Faculty having the majority of the students.

The Accreditation Committee of the National Accreditation Board voted to grant the KAAF University College, Gomoa a three-year authorization to start and/or continue its preparation for accreditation of the institution at its 20th meeting on September 13, 2007, with effect from that day. Its primary campus is located in Buduburam and is associated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Programs that lead to the award of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration are also available, with specializations in banking and finance, accounting, human resource management, insurance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. There are now 1200 students enrolled in the institution, which provides engineering, business, law, nursing, and computer science courses. In the fields of business and engineering, KNUST serves as a mentor institution. The law program is run by GIMPA, and the computer science and nursing programs are run by UDS.
