About Oduduwa University

Oduduwa University is an advanced, forward-thinking university with high standards of teaching and research. OUI sits at the heart of one of Osun State’s most up-coming cities. We are fully approved by the National University Commission, Nigeria. The University is situated at Ipetumodu, a town in Osun State, six kilometers (6km) away from Ile-Ife. It is on a parcel of land of about one hundred (100) hectares and is already justly industrialized with some substructure that will sufficiently serve the institution’s permanent site. There is enough room and chance for expansion if more land is essential in the nearest future.

Who founded OUI?

Answer: Rahmon Adegoke Adedoyin, M.D. (born January 1, 1957) is a Nigerian educationist and businessman. He is the founder and proprietor of Oduduwa University and The Polytechnic, Ile-Ife. In an interview with Vanguard, Rahmon appealed that the late Oba Okunade Sijuwade had chosen him as the Ooni of Ife before his death because of “his developmental strides, mainly in the cradle of Yoruba land”.

Rahmon Adegoke was born into the majestic family of the Akui ruling house in the ancient city of Ife in Osun State, where he went on to complete his primary and secondary school education. He continued to the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) where he got a Bachelor of Science degree in 1983 after studying Mathematics Education. He also joined Centurion International University, California where he got his master’s degree and went on to bag a doctorate in 1996 from All Saints University School of Medicine, New York City.

In a bid to refurbish education in Nigeria, Rahmon originated The Polytechnic, Ile-Ife in 1984, and Oduduwa University in 2009. He is a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Industrial Statisticians.

What are the requirements for OUI?

Answer: Undergraduate Admission Necessities

ORDINARY LEVEL

The minimum entry necessity for undergraduate programs at Oduduwa University is credit level passes in 5 subjects at the O’Level examinations. The subjects must contain English Language, Mathematics and one related subject got at not more than two sittings. There are other necessities strange to some certain colleges and departments.

Potential students must reach the UTME cut-off mark.

How much OUI school fee?

Answer: (1) Undergraduates: N195, 000 per semester. Two semesters make one session. Add 50,000 for practically oriented courses.

(2) POSTGRADUATE FEES/CONVERSION FEES N150, 000 per semester of three. (Active 5/5/22) Add 50,000 for practical courses.

Does OUI have a dress code?
Answer: NO. But No loose, strange, seductive, or provoking style of dressing. The wearing of waist jeans, miniskirts, and short tops or sleeveless tops is not allowed. The University has a Student Welfare Board which is instituted of the best students drawn from each of the existing Departments.

Does OUI write post Utme?

Answer: OUI admission collective is resolute by JAMB score and Post-UTME score i.e.( JAMB score/8) + (Post UTME score/2). Though, you must have encountered the O’level standards before you can be given admission. Initially, before you can be requested to write OUI Post UTME 2022/2023, you must have scored at least 200 in JAMB.
