Presbyterian University of East Africa

A private institution with a charter in Kenya is called the Presbyterian University of East Africa (PUEA). The Commission for University Education (CUE) has authorized it and granted it accreditation. The university is situated in Thogoto, Kikuyu, Kenya.

PUEA offers certificate, diploma, and degree programs in computer science, theology, business administration, education, health sciences, hotel and tourism, occupational therapy, and communication. Additionally, it grants two master’s degrees: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Education in Educational Management.

  • KSCE Mean Grade of D+ (Plus), C- (minus) OR equivalent

PUEA POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Entry Requirements for Postgraduate Diploma Courses

  • Admission and conduct of postgraduate programs shall be performed under the provisions of the general postgraduate regulations.
  • The following shall be qualified for admission into a postgraduate diploma program in the University:
    • Holders of a Bachelor’s degree from the Presbyterian University of East Africa, and other universities recognized by the PUEA Senate.

Entry Requirements for Masters Courses

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • The admission requirement is a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a scale of 4.00 or a degree awarded with First Class or Upper Second Class Honours.
  • Those whose GPA is 2.5 or who have Lower Second Class Honours and a Higher Diploma with relevant experience may be assessed if the degree or diploma is relevant to the field of study.
