About Regent University College of Science and Technology

The Regent University College of Science and Technology is situated in Accra, Ghana, and is frequently referred to as Regent-Ghana. It was registered in September 2003, and in 2004 it was granted accreditation to function as a tertiary institution. At Trinity Campus in Mataheko, it began its lectures in January 2005 with 30 pioneer students.

At McCarthy Hill, off the Mallam-Kasoa-Winneba Highway, the University now conducts business from a purpose-built campus. It is regarded as one of Ghana’s top private institutions of higher learning in science and technology.

Regent was recognized as the third-best university in Ghana in the 14th edition of the Webometrics Ranking of Global Universities. The Webometrics Ranking of Global Universities’ July 2020 edition named Regent University College of Science and Technology the best private university in Ghana. According to the same edition of the bi-annual ranking, Regent is the seventh-best university in Ghana overall.
