The Evangelical Presbyterian University College is intended to grow into a unique school. The EPUC will be an IT-based institution as a result. Also, it will be a public university that reaches out to mature and gifted individuals who are not currently able to enroll in a university program.

About Evangelical Presbyterian University College

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana founded the Evangelical Presbyterian University College in 2008. Two campuses exist. The first is at Ho, the capital of Ghana’s Volta Region, which is home to the Central Municipal Campus. The other is the Greenhill Campus, which is situated in Peki in the Volta Region’s South Dayi District.

An exceptional institution, EPUC is dedicated to providing high-quality instruction, research, and community service. The University of Cape Coast, an affiliate university, grants degrees following its programs, which are accredited by the National Accreditation Board. The aim is to become a chartered university with its awarding powers to create an enabling environment that will continue to make it relevant to national and global engagement and development. Its programs are taught by experienced and qualified lecturers with remarkable expertise and specialization.

WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS

General Criteria for Entrance

Senior High School graduates must have the following qualifications to be admitted to any program: at least credits (A1-C6 in WASSCE and A-D in SSSCE) in English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science (for applicants who want to study science), or Social Studies (for applicants who don’t want to study science), and three elective subjects in General Arts/Business/Science/Vocational, with a total aggregate not exceeding 30. Also, applicants in the sciences must have at least a grade of C6 in their social studies/life skills WASSCE/D in their SSSCE, and applicants in non-science fields must have at least a grade of C6 in their integrated science/core science WASSCE/D in their SSSCE.

Admission Requirements:

The general requirement for admission to the Diploma in Basic Education (DBE) program is as follows:

  • WASSCE Holders: Credits (A1-C6) in five (5) topics, including two (2) elective subjects that are pertinent to the program of choice and three (3) core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics.
  • SSSCE Holders: Credits (A-D) in five (5) topics, including two (2) elective subjects that are pertinent to the program of choice and three (3) core subjects, including English language and core mathematics.
  • TVET HOLDERS: Candidates must have credits in five (5) topics, including two (2) elective subjects that are pertinent to their chosen program and three (3) core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

Note that: Candidates who are expecting the MAY/JUNE 2023 WASSCE Results may apply.
