About Wisconsin International University College, Ghana

One of the first private universities to be established in Ghana is Wisconsin International University College. It is situated in Ghana’s Greater Accra Region at Agbogba Junction close to Kwabenya. It was founded in January 2000, is connected with the University of Ghana, the University of Cape Coast, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and the University for Development Studies, and is recognized by the National Accreditation Board as a university college.

Wisconsin International University was founded in 1992. Concordia International University Estonia was the name of the first campus, which opened in Tallinn, Estonia. Wisconsin International University Ukraine was established in Kiev in 1997. Presently, the college can boast of students from throughout Africa, Asia, and America who speak more than 30 different nationalities and 20 different languages.

Q. What are the requirements for WIUC?

A. WIUC Entry Requirements 

General Undergraduate Programmes 

  • A minimum of six credits (A1 C6) in Mathematics, English, Integrated Science (Biology or Agricultural Science), or Social Studies, as well as three other optional disciplines, are required of all new students to Wisconsin International University College. A maximum of 36 points should be earned overall from these subjects combined. Students taking the SSCE are required to earn six credits (A-D) totaling 24 points in a cluster among the three required topics and three electives.

Mature Students 

  • Candidates must be at least 25 years old to qualify. A test in general business, information technology, mathematics, and English will be required of them. Students may also be interviewed.

Note: Other students should get in touch with the university to find out about placement levels whether they have ABCE, GBCE, GCE, ICSGE, or Professional courses like ACCA, CIM, ICA, Baccalaureate, or HND, to name a few.
